Competition Brief & Overview
ARTPLAY Design and Architecture Center is launching an open competition to create a visual dominant art-object for the main entrance from the Yauza River embankment. The object should become a recognizable symbol of ARTPLAY, organically fit into the architectural landscape, strengthen the cluster's identity, and integrate into the urban environment. The theme should refer to the Center's activities – interior design and architecture. Preferred solutions are tall structures (4 to 6 meters), with lighting and materials resistant to climatic conditions. The project budget must not exceed 2.5 million rubles. Participants must submit visualizations, concept descriptions, technical parameters, and a budget estimate. The jury will evaluate compliance with the competition theme, originality of concept, anti-vandalism features, and safety of the structure. The winner receives 500,000 rubles as a fee for transferring exclusive rights, and ARTPLAY will allocate up to 2.5 million rubles for the object's realization. The competition is open to individuals aged 18+ and legal entities operating in Russia: architects, artists, designers, sculptors, architectural bureaus, and creative studios. Each participant may submit up to three applications.

Total Prize Fund:
The winner receives an honorarium of 500,000 rubles for the transfer of exclusive rights (fixed in the author's commission agreement and not subject to increase), including all taxes and fees payable in accordance with legal requirements. ARTPLAY will allocate a budget (estimate) for the production and installation of the object (remuneration for production and installation work under the author's commission agreement) of up to 2,500,000 rubles (two million five hundred thousand rubles, 00/100). The estimate is approved by the Organizer before work begins and is an integral part of the author's commission agreement. Any excess over the budget is paid by the Winner at their own expense. Special prizes (incentive awards) may be established for individual participants at the Organizer's discretion, with amounts and procedures determined in the protocol.
